Additional Information

The giving continues with Double Down December. Our officers put down another C-note to the 100 Club of Illinois, for the privilege of another bearded month. Therefore, the contest will be extended until December 31. The photos will be posted on our Facebook page after the New Year.

Our culture of giving continues with No-Shave November. During November, we relax our policy to allow officers to grow a beard in exchange for a $100 contribution to the 100 Club of Illinois. This year we have nineteen participants. Each will submit a photo at the end of the month that will be posted on the LFPD Facebook page. Our Facebook friends will be encouraged to vote for their favorite beard. The winner will be announced in early December.

The mission of the 100 Club is to provide for families of first responders killed in the line of duty and support all active-duty first responders across the state of Illinois through its programs and resources. Public donations can be made to the 100 Club of Illinois by following this link, checking the Make This Gift on behalf of Organization box, then entering Lake Forest Police Department.

Tis the season to give to those in need! This year Toys For Tots celebrates its 75th Anniversary of bringing joy to children in need. Toys for Tots stands ready to assist families and children in need who have been affected by natural disasters or life-changing events. It recently expanded its mission to provide support to children in need year-round, not just during Christmastime.

Toys For Tots QR CodeFor over 20 years, Lake Forest Police has partnered with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program as a collection point for new, unwrapped toys and books. The toys we collect are received at the Great Lakes U.S. Marine Reserve Unit and distributed to families in Lake County. No time to shop? Just scan the QR Code to make a cash donation.
