Free Tree Seedlings for Arbor Day
Celebrate Arbor Day (April 26) by planting native trees!
Starting Monday, April 22, the City's Forestry section is giving away free tree seedlings to Lake Forest residents at various parks around town. Seedlings are restocked daily while supplies last.
Hackberry, Black Hills Spruce, and Norway Spruce tree seedlings will be available at the following locations:
- City Hall - North Side of City Hall Parking Lot (220 E Deerpath Rd)
- West Park Parking Lot - North Side (850 Summit Ave)
- South Park Parking Lot - South Side (150 S Maywood Rd)
- Northcroft Park Parking Lot - West Side (1365 S Ridge Rd)
- Everett School Parking Lot - West Side (1191 Everett School Rd)
