Comprehensive Plan Update - Central Business District
The first phase of extensive public engagement opportunities is complete.
Thanks to all who contributed ideas, concerns, and thoughts about the Central Business District (CBD). Please stay engaged! Building on the strengths of the CBD and protecting and preserving the character are clear themes, as well as identifying opportunities for enhancement going forward.
As the discussions progress, continued public input is critical to the success of this initiative. Check the project website for continued updates and to see what your friends and neighbors have to say.
The input received to date is guiding the development of an early draft of the update which will be available for public review and comment. As the Working Group completes its work over the next month, the discussions will move to the Plan Commission for additional public review and input. Ultimately, the updated plan will be presented to the City Council for consideration. Keep the ideas and input coming!
