Ice Skating
Classes are offered by the Recreation Department to provide instruction in figure and hockey skating to four
year old children through adults. The philosophy of our
program is recreational skating, not competitive.
Lessons are taught at Lake Forest College Ice Arena on
Saturday and Wednesday mornings. Basic, intermediate and
advanced figure skating classes are offered. In addition, a
jump and spin class is taught. Hockey classes are offered
which teaches and reinforces skating and stick-handling skills
to young participants. It does not offer games situations. In
addition to the figure skating and hockey classes, a practice
skating time is offered, giving participants and family
members open skate time. Print out the
registration form
