BALANCE AND STABILITY
Balance is not something you lose with age; balance is
something you lose because you don't use it. Join this class
as we work on balance with the use of several different
pieces of equipment. This class will help you find your
center and stabilize through your core. Balance work helps
to strengthen not only your feet and ankles, it also
strengthens the core.
CARDIO CUT
This is a combination class offering both cardiovascular
conditioning and strength training in a split format. It is
designed to be comprehensive and efficient. The format
originates from two basic conditioning techniques. First,
muscle memory work a proven technique for successful aerobic
movement and second repeated strength sets, the accepted
standard in weight training. You may register for this class
for one day a week or save money by registering for two days
for best results.
CARDIO FUSION
This class fuses cardio, strength and yoga in a one hour
class. The first 40 minutes will consist of 3-5 minute
cardio workouts with 1-1.5 minutes of strength training for
recovery. The last 20 minutes of class will be spend doing
yoga sun salutations w/strength work and static stretching.
Steps, jump ropes, medicine balls, hand weights, body bars,
gliders, resist-a-balls are just a few pieces of equipment
that will be used.
CARDIO KICKBOX
This is a very high energy hi/lo impact aerobic class
(modifications being shown). Without any special equipment
you will learn non-contact boxing and karate moves while
burning calories. You will also strengthen your legs, upper
body and abdominals. Class will be followed by strength
training and flexibility. Participants should work at their
own pace.
CARDIO ZONE
Start your day with this high-energy aerobic workout, with
low impact combinations designed to increase your
cardiovascular endurance, plus muscle strength and
conditioning work. With the use of medicine balls, weights
and bands, you will be challenged to take your fitness to
the next level. Your workout will finish with an overall
stretch.
CHI BALL DANCE
This cardio dance workout utilizes a small weightless hand
held "chi ball" that is passed from hand to hand. It
incorporates movements from dance, martial arts, pilates and
yoga to create a flowing and energizing cardio dance
experience. It is easy to follow and accommodates beginner
to advanced fitness skill levels. The class concept is
rooted in Chinese medicine to improve the flow of energy or
the "Chi" throughout the body in order to enhance optimal
health and movement awareness. Designed to be performed bare
footed (optional) the class is set to energetic "new age"
music for a truly unique mind-body class.
FIT & FAB
Be prepared to be challenged in strength, balance, endurance
and stability. Learn new ways to tighten places you didn’t
even know you had!
GLIDING
With the use of gliding discs you will shrink your waist,
shrink your buns and shrink your fat away. This class will
introduce you to a new way to strengthen your muscles.

YOGA
This is a fitness based approach to yoga. This class will
introduce you to a new method of strengthening and
lengthening your muscles. Class size is limited. Drop ins
will be accepted once minimum number has been met.
HATHA YOGA
This series is for all levels including beginners and more
experienced students. The main purpose of this class is
stress reduction, flexibility and overall improvement in
your physical, emotional and spiritual well being. This
course includes the practice of Hatha Yoga postures, various
breathing and meditation techniques.
INDOOR CYCLING
Pedal your way to a fantastic workout indoors! With the use
of stationary cycles, class is led on a "virtual" outdoor
road, complete with hills, straight-aways in your mind's eye
as you listen to music. There is high-intensity training,
followed by leisurely cycling. Participants are encouraged
to wear padded bicycle shorts and to bring a water bottle
and towel. Class size is limited to 10.
NIA
NIA is an exercise program that shows us how to move more
freely, more powerfully and with more joy. It is a fun, low
impact aerobic workout, set to music and comprised of
elements from the martial arts, dance and yoga. Using only
the weight of the body, Nia provides a cardiovascular
experience that leads to greater strength, balance and
energy. Nia is adaptable to all fitness levels and no
experience is necessary.
PILATES FOR GOLFERS
This is an introductory class incorporating the Pilates
method of exercise and the biomechanics of the golf swing.
Learn how strengthening your core can prevent golf injuries
and increase your flexibility and stamina.
PILATES MATWORK
This class will introduce you to a new method of body
conditioning by strengthening your abdominals, back and
gluteals while you lengthen muscles and improve posture.
PILATES MATWORK II
This class is designed for students who have taken a Pilates
based mat class before and have a basic knowledge of
beginner Pilates exercises and terminology. It will begin
with a review of the beginner level exercise, but will move
into a more intermediate level after a few classes.
SALSAROBICS®
This high energy aerobic class provides a fun and
challenging workout while moving to Latin, Caribbean and
African rhythms. Muscular conditioning, flexibility,
postural alignment and endurance are all addressed in this
fat burning class. Each participant is challenged at their
own level. The class offers options of intensity and impact
for participants to choose from.
STREAMLINED FITNESS
This class combines strength training, pilates and bar work.
Class is designed to give your muscles a longer, leaner,
streamlined appearance and strengthen the core.
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
This class will define your muscles using hand weights,
resist a balls, and tubing to give you a more defined look.
Strong muscles help speed up your metabolism so you can burn
extra calories. You’ll see results without the sweat.
STRICTLY STRENGTH
This is a functional training class with core dynamics which
will target 'trouble spots'. Weights, tubing, resist a
balls, weighted balls, body bars and benches will be used to
get results!
WOW! WOMEN ON WEIGHTS
Become Lean & Strong! This is a 60 minute group personal
training approach to working out with a variety of
weight/resistance training equipment (barbell, body bars,
resistance tubing and dumbbells.) Learn how to compliment
your weight workouts with easy, healthy nutrition and health
tips, postural training, aerobic, flexibility advice and
more.
WOW II! WOMEN ON WEIGHTS II
You must have completed WOW I in order to participate in
this class. Please see WOW I description. This class is a
more advanced version of I.
YOGA EXPRESS
This is a fitness based approach to yoga. This class will
introduce you to a new method of strengthening and
lengthening your muscles. Class size is limited. Drop ins
will be accepted once minimum number has been met.
ZUMBA
Zumba is the newest fitness phenomenon. Zumba combines high
energy and motivating music with unique moves and
combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away
their worries. Zumba is not only great for the body, but is
also great for the mind. It is a “feel happy” workout.
